About us

We build computational models to explain social, political, and semantic phenomena. In our passion for our work, we often proudly break disciplinary and institutional boundaries. The group has been comprised of professors, graduate students, undergraduate students, as well as people with no academic affiliation other than this group. The focal discipline has arguably been philosophy, with the group's members also including those with backgrounds in math, computer science, physics, chemistry, psychology, linguistics, and business.
